About the Role
This is a standalone PR Marketing Manager position responsible for leading corporate communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement across Australia.
Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with global communications teams, you will be responsible for translating global messaging into locally relevant communications strategies that strengthen the company's reputation, market presence and industry influence.
This role will suit a commercially minded communications professional who enjoys building from the ground up and is confident operating autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Australian PR and communications strategy aligned to business objectives and global priorities
  • Build and manage relationships with key media contacts, journalists, editors and industry influencers to drive positive brand exposure
  • Lead corporate storytelling initiatives, showcasing innovation, sustainability achievements and industry leadership across the energy and technology sectors
  • Support senior executives with media engagements, speaking opportunities, interviews and thought leadership activity
  • Develop media materials including press releases, briefing documents, speeches, talking points and executive communications content
  • Establish relationships with industry associations, government stakeholders, business groups and key opinion leaders to enhance organisational influence
  • Lead communications planning for conferences, exhibitions, product showcases and industry events
  • Monitor media coverage, market developments and industry trends, providing strategic insights to leadership
  • Support crisis communications initiatives and manage sensitive media enquiries when required
Skills & Experience
  • 8-10 years' experience across public relations, corporate communications, media or marketing environments
  • Strong PR and media relations capability with an established track record of securing quality coverage
  • Experience developing and executing communications strategies that strengthen brand awareness and reputation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and international teams
  • Fluency in Mandarin will be highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline
