About the role
As a Policy Analyst, you will engage in research and analysis to inform policy development in the Māori space. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure policies are effective and culturally appropriate.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on policy issues affecting Māori communities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on policy proposals
- Draft policy documents and reports that communicate findings and recommendations
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of existing policies and suggest improvements
- Support the implementation of policy initiatives through effective communication and engagement strategies
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in policy analysis, particularly in the Māori context
- Strong capability in research methodologies and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate discussions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
