Our client and valued partner, Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking an experienced Office Operations Officer to oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of its Melbourne office.
Based in Southbank, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating a seamless, professional and engaging workplace experience, partnering with internal teams, vendors and building management to keep everything running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne office, ensuring a seamless, professional and well-organised workplace.
- Manage invoices, vendors, couriers, office supplies, assets and general office expenses.
- Coordinate events, conferences, meeting rooms and catering, including the annual office celebration.
- Partner with contractors, building management, cleaning and security teams to maintain workplace standards.
- Manage staff access, security records, seating allocations and car park arrangements.
- Support workplace safety, including Fire Warden and First Aid responsibilities.
- Provide responsive office, reception and visitor support, partnering with HR and internal teams on employee movements and ad hoc initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in office management, workplace operations or administration, ideally supporting a 30–50+ person office.
- Strong experience across office administration, invoices, vendors and workplace coordination.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, take ownership and juggle competing priorities.
- Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Professional, dependable and ethical approach, with experience in a policy-driven environment advantageous.
