Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for commercial performance across New Zealand. Reporting to the General Manager – New Zealand, you’ll lead a team of eight across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance support to deliver exceptional results.
You’ll be responsible for shaping sales strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities — all while keeping the team focused, supported and aligned to company goals. While your base is Auckland, regular travel to key regions is expected, along with close collaboration with the Australian team.

Ngā kawenga | What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead, coach and manage a national sales team of eight
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive sustainable growth
  • Deepen relationships with key retailers, designers and wholesale partners
  • Oversee in-market activities including launches, events and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, operations and design
  • Deliver accurate reporting, insights and forecasting
Mōhou ake | About You
You’re a confident, commercially driven leader with a strong track record in sales strategy, team leadership, and customer development. You’ll be comfortable balancing high-level planning with hands-on relationship management — and bring the energy, structure and communication skills to influence at all levels.
You’ll bring:
  • Proven sales leadership experience in the New Zealand market
  • Experience in retail, wholesale, interiors, or other premium design-led industries (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strength in coaching, pipeline development, forecasting and account strategy
  • A calm, clear and collaborative leadership style
  • Strong customer instincts and ability to influence both internally and externally
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Aotearoa
