Multimedia Content Producer
Melbourne CBD | Hybrid Working | Immediate Start until March 2027
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Multimedia Content Producer to join a high-performing communications team within a Victorian public sector organisation.
This role will suit someone who lives and breathes social media and understands how to create engaging, platform-first content that cuts through. You'll be responsible for taking ideas from concept through to delivery, producing high-quality video and multimedia content designed for digital audiences across a range of social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce end-to-end social media content including filming, editing, captioning and publishing
- Create engaging video content optimised for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Make sound editorial decisions and adapt content to suit different audiences and channels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external creative vendors to deliver content on time
- Support campaign delivery and manage content through review and approval processes
- Assist with photography, motion graphics and other multimedia content as required.
About You
- Proven experience creating social-first video content from concept to completion
- Strong videography and video editing skills with the ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms and audience engagement
- Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar editing software
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working within government, higher education or another complex stakeholder environment will be highly regarded.
