Looking for a hands-on role where your maintenance and operations skills actually make an impact? We’re partnering with a major commercial property to find an experienced Maintenance Technician / Operations Officer to support the smooth running, safety, and presentation of a busy commercial site.
The Role
- Daily building checks and minor repairs across lighting, plumbing, painting, and general upkeep
- Oversee cleaning services and ensure presentation standards are maintained
- Coordinate contractors across HVAC, fire, lifts, security, and other services
- Maintain plant rooms, equipment, and support preventative maintenance schedules
- Assist with compliance activities including WHS, risk, and the Annual Fire Safety Statement
- Keep accurate records, service logs, and support operational reporting
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in building or facilities maintenance
- Broad general maintenance or trade skills
- Experience coordinating contractors or cleaning teams
- Strong understanding of WHS and building compliance
- Clear communicator with solid reporting capability
- White Card and driver’s licence ideal; Fire Safety Statement knowledge a plus
- Experience with systems like Yardi beneficial
