About the Opportunity
We are currently registering experienced Legal Secretaries for a range of temporary and contract roles across Adelaide. These opportunities support established legal teams during periods of leave, increased workload, or project-based requirements and typically require candidates who can commit to set hours and defined contract periods.
This is a great opportunity for Legal Secretaries who enjoy contract-based work and are comfortable stepping into busy environments to provide consistent, reliable support.
Key Responsibilities
- Duties will vary depending on the assignment and practice area, and may include: Providing high-level secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
- Drafting, formatting, and amending legal correspondence and documentation
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
- Opening, maintaining, and closing legal files
- Liaising with clients, courts, and external stakeholders in a professional manner
- Assisting with billing, timesheets, and general office administration
About You
To be successful in these temporary and contract roles, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrative professional
- Strong document production skills and high attention to detail
- The ability to quickly adapt to established processes and systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A professional, dependable, and team-focused approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
Experience across litigation, commercial, property, family law, or government environments will be highly regarded.
