Legal Assistant

The Role
As a valued member of the team, you will provide high quality legal and administrative support while helping to maintain outstanding client service standards. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Managing busy inboxes, diaries, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements
- Coordinating matter administration, file management and compliance processes
- Preparing, editing and formatting legal documents, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Managing end to end billing and invoicing processes
- Liaising with clients and supporting client relationship activities
- Assisting with document production and the delivery of legal work
- Supporting lawyers with general practice administration and operational requirements
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment and mentoring junior team members where required

About You
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Legal PA within a law firm environment
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience supporting senior lawyers in a busy practice
- Proven billing and administrative experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using legal technology systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional, confident and client focused communication skills
- A proactive, positive and team oriented approach to your work
