About the role
The Legal Assistant will provide essential support to the legal team, focusing on billing, matter management, and client communication. This role is a parental leave cover, offering a contract until January 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Partner and Executive Counsel with legal documentation and correspondence
- Manage billing processes and ensure accurate matter management
- Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining a client-focused approach
- Collaborate with solicitors and other legal assistants to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist in administrative tasks as required, adapting to team needs.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in legal support, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to manage client relationships under pressure
- Experience in a large firm is preferred but not mandatory
- Open to candidates from various practice groups.
