About the role
This role as a Legal Assistant within the Property team which covers both residential and commercial property transactions. Work closely with experienced lawyers, contributing to diverse and high-value property files. You will play an integral part in ensuring effective file management and communication, enhancing the overall efficiency of the legal team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
- Conduct PEXA, ASIC, and property searches
- Collaborate with team members on various commercial and residential property matters
- Ensure timely file progression and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in a legal environment, with a minimum of three years as a legal assistant in private practice
- Strong capability in managing multiple tasks, demonstrating excellent time management and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
