What You’ll Do
  • As a Legal Assistant within the Litigation team, you will provide high-level support to Partners and Lawyers across a range of complex litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include: Managing diaries, emails, client communications and general administrative tasks
  • Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal correspondence, court documents and briefs
  • Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of court and tribunal documents
  • Managing matter files, maintaining accurate records and monitoring key deadlines
  • Coordinating meetings, conferences, mediations and court appearances
  • Preparing briefs, document bundles and other litigation-related materials
  • Assisting with discovery and document management processes
  • Preparing and processing invoices, tracking billable hours and supporting billing tasks
  • Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and other external stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative and ad hoc support to the wider litigation team
What We’re Looking For
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within a litigation environment. You’ll also bring: Previous experience supporting litigation matters
  • Previous billing experience
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
