Legal Assistant | Disputes
Are you a proactive Legal Assistant looking to take the next step in your career within a thriving disputes practice? Offering quality work, a strong team culture, and a salary package of up to $105,000, this role is ideal for an experienced Legal Assistant who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Working closely with experienced lawyers across a busy disputes practice, you will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring matters run efficiently from commencement through to resolution.
Responsibilities
  • Managing diary and calendar commitments, appointments, and meeting coordination
  • Drafting, formatting and amending legal correspondence and documents
  • Preparing court documents and filing through relevant court portals
  • Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and other stakeholders
  • Managing matter administration and maintaining electronic files
  • Assisting with monthly billing processes and complex billing requirements
  • Coordinating travel, meetings and general administrative support as required

About You
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within a law firm environment
  • Previous experience supporting a Commercial Litigation, Disputes or broader Litigation practice
  • Strong complex billing experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communication skills and a professional client service approach
  • A proactive and team focused attitude
