Legal Assistant | Disputes

Working closely with experienced lawyers across a busy disputes practice, you will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring matters run efficiently from commencement through to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Managing diary and calendar commitments, appointments, and meeting coordination
- Drafting, formatting and amending legal correspondence and documents
- Preparing court documents and filing through relevant court portals
- Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and other stakeholders
- Managing matter administration and maintaining electronic files
- Assisting with monthly billing processes and complex billing requirements
- Coordinating travel, meetings and general administrative support as required

About You
- Minimum two years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within a law firm environment
- Previous experience supporting a Commercial Litigation, Disputes or broader Litigation practice
- Strong complex billing experience is essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication skills and a professional client service approach
- A proactive and team focused attitude
