2. The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer with 1 to 4 years' post admission experience to join a high performing team working across a range of complex and high volume matters.
The successful candidate will gain valuable advocacy and dispute resolution experience while working closely with senior lawyers and engaging directly with clients.
- Key responsibilities include: Conducting contentious and sensitive matters with support and guidance from senior practitioners
- Assisting with dispute resolution and litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Responding to client queries and preparing practical legal advice
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, correspondence and court materials
- Attending court appearances, mediations, settlement conferences and other legal proceedings
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication
- Contributing to the development of training materials and legal resources
- Supporting the delivery of high quality legal services in accordance with internal processes and standards
- Participating in ongoing learning and professional development initiatives

- Requirements include: Between 1 and 4 years' post admission experience gained within private practice, in house, government or a related legal environment
- Exposure to litigation, disputes, regulatory or compliance matters
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to learn and grow professionally
