2. The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer with 1 to 4 years' post admission experience to join a high performing team working across a range of complex and high volume matters.
The successful candidate will gain valuable advocacy and dispute resolution experience while working closely with senior lawyers and engaging directly with clients.
  • Key responsibilities include: Conducting contentious and sensitive matters with support and guidance from senior practitioners
  • Assisting with dispute resolution and litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
  • Responding to client queries and preparing practical legal advice
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, correspondence and court materials
  • Attending court appearances, mediations, settlement conferences and other legal proceedings
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication
  • Contributing to the development of training materials and legal resources
  • Supporting the delivery of high quality legal services in accordance with internal processes and standards
  • Participating in ongoing learning and professional development initiatives
3. The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is eager to continue developing their legal expertise.
  • Requirements include: Between 1 and 4 years' post admission experience gained within private practice, in house, government or a related legal environment
  • Exposure to litigation, disputes, regulatory or compliance matters
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • A proactive attitude and genuine desire to learn and grow professionally
