The Role
Joining a well regarded General Insurance practice in Sydney, the successful candidate will work across a range of motor vehicle property damage, recovery and insurance litigation matters.
This role offers the opportunity to manage files, interact directly with clients and develop practical litigation skills within a collaborative and high performing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of motor vehicle property damage and recovery matters appropriate to experience level
- Assist in progressing litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, advices and other legal documents
- Review evidence and assess legal and factual issues
- Contribute to matter strategy and dispute resolution outcomes
- Provide practical and commercially focused advice to clients
- Attend court appearances, mediations and other dispute resolution processes
- Brief and liaise with Counsel
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to team objectives
