About the role
The organisation is seeking a Store Person to manage the daily operations of the storeroom, focusing on tracking materials and equipment used by tradespeople. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations within the storeroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Record materials and equipment issued from the storeroom
- Update job cards and allocate materials to the correct jobs in the system
- Track stock usage across various jobs and projects
- Enter information accurately into the system
- Assist with basic administration tasks
- Support invoicing duties and forward documents to relevant departments
- Handle materials and assist with general storeroom duties
- Cover reception for approximately 45 to 60 minutes daily
- Complete induction and training as required
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in inventory management and materials tracking
- Comfortable interacting with tradespeople and internal staff
- Strong capability in data entry and system management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials
