We are partnering with a fast-growing, well-established accounting firm with a strong national reputation. Known for genuinely investing in and developing their people, the firm is now looking to bring on several Intermediate Accountants due to continued growth.
The Role:
You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while working closely with a Senior Accountant and managers who will support your development and progression. The client base includes family groups with multiple entities across professional services, medical, and property-focused businesses.

The Role:
You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while working closely with a Senior Accountant and managers who will support your development and progression. The client base includes family groups with multiple entities across professional services, medical, and property-focused businesses.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for complex family groups with multiple entities
- Completing Business Activity Statements independently
- Assisting with end-of-year tax planning for multi-entity structures
- Reconciling inter-entity transactions and loan accounts
- Managing Division 7A loans, including calculations and documentation
- Working with Unpaid Present Entitlements
- Applying strong technical knowledge across income tax, GST, FBT and small business CGT concessions
- Meeting performance expectations around productivity and write-offs
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Services / Tax within Australian public practice
- Currently studying towards CA or CPA
- A strong and confident communicator, as this role involves direct client liaison
- Confident handling multi-entity structures including companies, trusts and individuals
- Strong working knowledge of Division 7A, GST, FBT and CGT concessions
- Experience supporting clients in professional services, medical, and property or construction sectors
- Proficient in Xero and MYOB
- A team-focused mindset with the ability to work closely with senior staff and contribute to a collaborative environment
- Comfortable working to clear financial KPIs, including productivity and write-off targets
- Experience with Business Fitness and Active Workpapers will be highly regarded.
