The opportunity –
This newly positioned role offers the opportunity to take ownership of injury management and return-to-work practices across a diverse workforce. Partnering closely with leaders, employees, medical practitioners and insurers, you will manage both physical and psychological injury matters, driving sustainable return-to-work outcomes and best-practice claims management. Beyond case management, you'll play a key role in identifying trends, influencing organisational capability, improving processes and embedding early intervention strategies across the business.
Selection criteria –
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or a related discipline
- Proven experience across workers' compensation, injury management and rehabilitation
- Strong knowledge of Queensland workers' compensation legislation and RTW frameworks
- Experience managing complex physical and psychological injury claims
- Ability to influence and build relationships across all stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical capability with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proactive, solutions-focused and passionate about employee wellbeing
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
