The opportunity
This newly established role is responsible for leading the organisation’s fleet management and procurement functions, reporting to an experienced Procurement Manager. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. With a fleet of close to 200 vehicles, your focus will be on reviewing contracts, services, and suppliers to identify opportunities for streamlining, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
Selection criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification, coupled with proven experience in fleet management
- Exposure to procurement activities is highly regarded
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality outcomes
- High level of computer literacy, including MS Office; experience with Technology One is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
- Solutions focused mindset with strong problem solving capabilities
