Step into a pivotal finance role within a well-established international healthcare organisation, where you will take ownership of compliance, tax, and reporting across multiple entities. This role exists to strengthen financial control, ensure compliance with all tax obligations, and support informed decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end compliance and supporting broader finance operations:
- Manage corporate tax compliance including income tax, BAS/IAS, and statutory reporting obligations
- Deliver accurate tax calculations, lodgements, and reporting across direct and indirect taxes
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on compliance matters
- Support financial planning, audits, and corporate governance initiatives
- Oversee payroll processing (in an outsourced model) and ensure all related statutory obligations are met
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors on tax and compliance matters
To be considered, you will bring strong technical accounting capability and a proven background in tax and compliance:
- CA or CPA qualification (essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar tax or compliance-focused finance role
- Solid knowledge of Australian tax legislation and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
