About the role
The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller with various project work. This position offers the opportunity to engage in audit activities, manage month-end processes, and conduct historical reconciliations. The role also involves implementing process improvements and documenting procedures, ensuring a streamlined approach to financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
  • Support the Financial Controller with project work and audits
  • Manage month-end closing processes and ensure accurate reporting
  • Conduct historical reconciliations to maintain data integrity
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
  • Document financial processes and procedures for clarity and compliance.
Skills & experience
  • Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong capability in using MYOB and advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage month-end processes effectively
  • Experience in auditing and process documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team objectives.
