About the role
The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller with various project work. This position offers the opportunity to engage in audit activities, manage month-end processes, and conduct historical reconciliations. The role also involves implementing process improvements and documenting procedures, ensuring a streamlined approach to financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Financial Controller with project work and audits
- Manage month-end closing processes and ensure accurate reporting
- Conduct historical reconciliations to maintain data integrity
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Document financial processes and procedures for clarity and compliance.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Strong capability in using MYOB and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage month-end processes effectively
- Experience in auditing and process documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team objectives.
