The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting and audit delivery:
- Prepare statutory financial statements and manage year-end processes
- Take a lead role in coordinating external audits, acting as the key contact for auditors
- Ensure audit readiness across the business, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Oversee month-end close, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Manage tax compliance (GST, FBT, payroll tax and related reporting)
- Monitor cashflow, investments and asset registers
- Support senior stakeholders and committees with clear, well-prepared reporting
- Drive improvements across systems, controls and processes
About you
You enjoy working in a structured environment where audit, compliance and accuracy matter:
- CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong grounding in Australian accounting standards and tax
- Solid experience managing or supporting external audit processes
- Confident working with auditors and senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail with a proactive, organised approach
- Systems savvy with a focus on improving controls and processes
- Experience with TechnologyOne ERP highly advantageous
