An opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a well-established organisation within the wholesale/distribution sector. This hands-on role offers a broad mix of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations and stakeholder engagement responsibilities within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Receivable including invoicing, collections and account maintenance
- Management of outstanding debtors and credit applications
- Accounts Payable processing and supplier payment runs
- Credit card and employee expense reconciliation
- Multi-currency transaction processing
- Customer and supplier account reconciliations
- Balance sheet, debtor and creditor reconciliations
- Maintaining master data accuracy across customer and supplier records
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve account queries
- Supporting month-end finance activities and reporting requirements
About You
- To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP and /NetSuite, highly regarded)
- Exposure to multi-currency transactions will be advantageous
