An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced Executive Assistant to partner 1:1 with a dynamic COO within a leading organisation.
This is a true EA role where you will operate as a trusted right hand, playing a pivotal part in enabling senior leadership, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless communication across a complex and evolving business. With significant organisational change underway, you will have the chance to contribute to key projects, collaborate closely with an established EA team, and immerse yourself in a fast-paced environment offering variety, challenge, and impact.
Daily responsibilities include
- Proactively provide executive support to the COO
- Manage and prioritise the executive calendar
- Full email management on behalf of the COO, including assistance with correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and events
- Arrange meetings for the Senior Leadership Team, including agenda preparation and distribution of associated papers
- Prepare documents for Board meetings
- Minute-taking for SLT meetings and ensure accurate distribution of minutes
- Foster effective communication between departments and external stakeholders
What you need to bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant role at C-suite or senior management level
- Ability to quickly build rapport and foster effective working relationships within executive teams
- Proficiency in all administrative and executive support duties required to manage an effective and professional COO office (e.g. minute-taking, meeting coordination)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise autonomy
