It operates as a working fish market, sourcing products both nationally and internationally, and trading over 14,500 tonnes of seafood annually, featuring up to a hundred species of sustainable Australian seafood each day.
About the role
The Credit Officer will be integral to managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of credit processes. This role entails collaborating with various departments to streamline operations and enhance financial reporting practices. Candidates will gain exposure to dynamic financial systems and contribute to the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage credit applications and assess creditworthiness of clients
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
  • Prepare financial reports and provide insights on credit performance
  • Assist in implementing credit policies and procedures.
Skills & experience
  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable management
  • Strong capability in financial reporting and data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
