Credit Officer

Our client is an Australian-owned organisation operating within the infrastructure sector, providing essential services to a broad customer base. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join their finance team in a permanent, office-based role located in Toowong.
This position will suit a hands-on credit professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, high-volume environment and values being part of a close-knit, collaborative team.
The Role
- End to end credit and collections function for a dedicated ledger
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up outstanding balances, and minimise overdue debt
- Assess credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit limits
- Resolve account queries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
- Maintain accurate records and support periodic reporting
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support cash flow targets
About You
- Proven experience as a Credit Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and debt recovery best practice
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working 100% from the office
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded
