In this role, as the Credit Manager you will take ownership of the end-to-end credit and accounts receivable function while supporting sustainable business growth through effective risk management and customer engagement.
Working within the Finance division and collaborating closely sales and operational stakeholders, you will be responsible for optimising collections, improving credit controls, minimising bad debt exposure and ensuring credit policies remain effective and compliant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the credit and receivable’s function and provide direction to the wider team.
  • Lead all accounts receivable and credit risk activities, including monitoring aged debt and driving timely collections.
  • Manage credit assessments, evaluate applications and recommend appropriate credit limits and trading terms.
  • Build and maintain effective credit, collection and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and manage customer risk, account performance and credit exposures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while managing escalations, negotiations and payment arrangements.
  • Coach, develop and support team members while overseeing reporting, forecasting and KPI performance.
To be successful, you will bring proven experience in a Credit Manager or similar senior credit leadership role, along with strong knowledge of credit risk management, accounts receivable processes and relevant compliance requirements. A Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Finance and/or Accounting, along with an AICM qualification, particularly a Diploma of Credit Management, will be highly regarded. Strong stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team, are essential.
