people2people is excited to partner with a fast-growing, mid-sized transport and forwarding business seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join their Brisbane team. With humble beginnings, they have scaled into a global operation—offering end-to-end logistics, international freight forwarding, 3PL warehousing and national door-to-door solutions.
The opportunity –
This is a unique role that gives you exposure across domestic transport, warehousing, and international freight forwarding – with full training provided in forwarding if it’s new to you. Hunting for new business, identifying leads and opportunities and working with both client and internal stakeholders to close the deal.
Selection criteria
- Proven experience winning new business in any area of logistics (transport, ecommerce, 3PL/warehousing, freight forwarding, courier/same day, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the Brisbane markets with an established network
- Solutions-focused and passionate about creating value for customers
- You have a strong will to succeed and disciplined sales habits
- You’re flexible and open to learning, with the drive to grow alongside the business
