The role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager on a 12-month contract to support the smooth transition and retention of clients acquired through a recent business acquisition.
You will oversee a portfolio of clients, strengthen relationships, address concerns, and convert them onto formal service agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of new clients, fostering trust and ongoing engagement
- Present and demonstrate the benefits of services while resolving client concerns
- Convert clients to formal agreements and handle any necessary negotiations
- Coordinate with internal teams and keep records to ensure seamless onboarding and progress tracking
Criteria
- Demonstrated success in business development or B2B
- Skilled at managing objections and navigating challenging conversations
- Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in client onboarding, acquisition integration, or transition management
- Industry background in professional services or accounting is desired
