The Role
The firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Lawyer with approximately 2 years’ PAE to join its growing national team. This is an opportunity to work on high-quality, complex matters with established partners and senior lawyers in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including corporate finance, acquisition finance, structured finance and regulatory matters
· Drafting, negotiating and reviewing transaction documents and finance agreements
· Supporting senior lawyers on major deals and managing smaller matters independently
· Assisting with regulatory compliance and financial services advisory work
· Liaising with financial institutions, corporate clients and external stakeholders
· Conducting legal research and preparing risk analysis and advice
· Contributing to matter management, project coordination and transaction execution

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring:
· Approximately 2 years’ PAE in banking & finance or a closely related practice area
· Strong technical grounding in Banking & Finance law, regulatory frameworks and transactional work
· Ability to practise law in Australia, with experience in a NSW, QLD or VIC legal environment
· Excellent drafting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· A collaborative, proactive and professional approach to client service
· Enthusiasm to continue developing expertise within a high-quality national team
