About the role
Partnering an industry leading Canberra based Partner, this position involves managing general insurance cases, primarily in the defendant space. You will have the opportunity to work two days from home while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload in general insurance.
- Collaborate with junior associates and graduates in case preparation.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and legal practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in general insurance law, ideally with 2-5 years PAE.
- Strong capability in managing defendant cases with a preference for experience on the plaintiff side.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior staff.
