We are partnering with a global business to recruit a Junior Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Sydney finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, take on new challenges, and gain exposure across a broad range of finance functions.
Working closely with an experienced Financial Controller, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship while developing your skills across accounts receivable, reconciliations, collections, and customer account management. This role offers a genuine pathway for long-term career growth and development within finance.
- Manage customer accounts and day-to-day accounts receivable activities
- Perform customer and intercompany account reconciliations
- Follow up outstanding invoices and support collection activities
- Respond to customer account enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records across finance and CRM systems
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
- 1-3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration, Customer Service or a similar role
- Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping qualifications, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
- Eager to build a long-term career in accounting and finance
