The role
- Bookkeeping: Reconciliation of bank transactions in a timely manner, utilizing Microsoft AXAPTA or similar systems.
- Processing Employee Time Sheets: Weekly processing for ADP payroll.
- Invoicing and Cash Collection: Management of debtor accounts and timely invoicing.
- Supplier Management: Facilitate supplier payments and oversee accounts payable.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and liaising with auditors as needed.
- Membership Register Maintenance: Keeping track of current membership and related records.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate financial files, including digital systems to ensure data integrity.
- Administrative Support: Provide assistance to all companies across the group and management as needed.
- Communication Management: Answer phones and handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Problem-Solving Skills: ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies.
- Fundamental Accounting Knowledge: understanding basic accounting principles and practices.
- Technological Proficiency: proficiency in various software tools.
- Relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients to ensure timely payments and effective communication regarding financial matters.
About you
- Established experience in a previous role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High diligence with proven written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and formulas.
- Experience working with large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
