Accounts Receivable Officer | 12-Month Contract
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a busy finance team on a 12-month contract commencing in early December.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and takes pride in resolving complex reconciliations and account queries. You'll play a key role in managing customer accounts across multiple sales channels while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure outstanding account accuracy and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex account reconciliations across B2C and D2C channels
- Daily bank reconciliations and transaction matching
- Manage payment allocations and resolve account discrepancies
- End-to-end collections and debtor management
- Investigate and resolve customer account issues
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Work closely with internal teams to support business operations
- Identify process improvements and efficiencies where appropriate
About You
- 3+ years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position
- Strong reconciliation experience within a high-volume environment
- Previous FMCG, retail or consumer products experience is essential
- Experience managing collections and customer accounts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Able to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- Positive, energetic and proactive approach
