Job description
As a social media specialist your role involves:
- Helping to develop and execute social media activities and generating social media ideas to ensure Samsung is seen as an innovator in the social media industry; and
- Increasing Samsungโs engagement across social media platforms and providing support in strategic decisions. This can be achieved through analytic tools and sales data to drive the development and execution of the social media activities.
Your duties and responsibilities would be:
- Work collaboratively with Samsungโs marketing and communications teams to ensure social media strategies and tactics achieve agreed business objectives.
- Implement social media campaigns, providing feedback and analytics to ensure objectives are met and continued optimisation to maximise ROI.
- Work with stakeholders on paid strategies and content marketing to make sure that outputs adhere to brand guidelines and content meets quality and creative requirements.
- Provide feedback regarding paid media tactics, audience targeting and retargeting strategies.
- Work closely with relevant internal and agency teams to make sure amplified content is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Report on and analyse data from social channels to determine the business impact and to enable optimisation where possible.
- Support work with Samsung influencer activities to help meet business objectives.
- Manage promotions and competitions on social media including managing creation of T&Cs, shortlisting and selecting winners, as well as managing delivery of prizing, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Support the community management and customer service team by providing counsel and advice where required.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone with a passion and experience with digital platforms.
- Experience in using platforms such as Sprinklr and Brand Networks.
- Desktop publishing.
- Able to use paid-platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager will be highly regarded.
- A team player and a positive atttitude.
- Analytical skills where you can provide analysis on traffic would be a significant advantage.
- Stakeholder management is a must as you will be engaging with numerous internal and external partners.
- Strong communications skills and a high attention to detail is necessary.
