Job description
Operating across Australia, our client have an urgent need for a Payroll Superstar to join their team of four.ย In a time of growth, expansion and diversification in both the business and the Finance function, you will have the opportunity to make contributions around process improvement and streamlining.ย
The Roleย
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the responsibilities of the role will include;ย
- End to end payroll processing (monthly and fortnightly)ย
- End of month reporting and reconciliationsย
- Calculating and processing, superannuation, deductions, allowances, terminations, leave entitlementsย
- Interpreting multiple, complex Awards
- Dealing with Payroll queries and providing exceptional customer serviceย
- Manual timesheet entering, data entryย
- Ad hoc work on projects as requiredย
The successful candidate will have/be;
- Highly experienced Senior Payroll Officerย
- A strong understanding of Payroll Legislationย
- Ability to interpret complex Awardsย
- Available at short noticeย
- Micropay Meridian, Chris 21 and SAP experience will be highly regarded
