THE ROLE
Supporting the wider Employment practice group, this role will involve duties which include but are not limited to:
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
- Liaising with high profile clients
- Processing billing
- Amending documents, briefs and court documents
- Communicating professionally and effectively with clients and colleague across multiple levels
- Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Assisting with telephone enquiries
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Opening and closing files
- Maintaining an effective filing system
- Preparing documents and letters
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Ad hoc secretarial duties
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Litigation
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
- A fast and accurate typing speed (65wpm +)
- Experience with billing
- Confidence liaising with high profile clients
- Professional personal presentation
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- High levels of organisation and the ability to prioritise
- A positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to work well in a team
- Initiative to work autonomously when required
