This prestigious organisation located on the North Shore is one of Australia's leading K-12 independent schools. They have a well-developed and well-rounded approach to children's education and provide an environment that supports their teachers and back-office staff.

Due to an internal secondment, there is now a need for a skilled Personal Assistant to support the HR Manager. Your days will be extremely busy, with some responsibilities including:

  • Providing administrative support to the HR Manager including diary management to 2 HR Coordinators
  • Supporting the HR Manager with reporting on employment statistics and legal compliance
  • Maintaining files, correspondence and drafting reports on school policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the payroll department to ensure all staffing information is up to date
  • Coordinating recruitment processes including scheduling interviews with relevant hiring managers
  • Preparing letters of offer & conducting background checks
  • Developing strong communication links between internal staff & the Human Resources Department
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department

To be considered for this role, you will be a passionate and enthusiastic personality who views no task as being too great. Ideally you will have previous experience supporting an executive or team of executives. You will also possess the following:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Consultative approach with experience managing different levels of staff
  • Extensive experience managing a busy schedule and supporting a HR Manager will be highly desired
