We are currently recruiting for several opportunities within a government organisation in Canberra. We are looking for experienced Payroll Officers who can commit to a 6-month assignment.
The Role will entail:
Processing weekly/fortnightly payroll
Ability to understand and interpret relevant industry awards, contracts and EBA's
Payroll administration (i.e. new starters set up, terminations and leave calculations)
Maintaining employee records
Responding to any payroll queries
You will have:
Prior experience in a similar role
Ability to use a large payroll system such as ADP, Preceda, Chris21, SAP, etc.
Availability to commit for a 6-month assignment
Accurate data entry and problem solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Work for a government organisation
Work within a supportive team environment
