Rapidly growing and diversifying Australian owned business, have a rare newly created role for a Payroll Manager to lead automation and implement process improvements.ย The dynamic and inclusive culture of the business based in Brisbane CBD is a testament to the organisational values of exceptional customer service and innovation.ย
The Roleย
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the responsibilities of the role will include;ย
- Leading and mentoring a team of two payroll officersย
- Overseeing Australian and New Zealand payrollย
- Automation projects and process improvements and streamliningย
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, legislation and taxationย
- Payroll reporting and auditingย
- ย Providing a high-quality customer serviceย
The successful candidate will have/be;ย
- A strong understanding of payroll legislationย
- Ability to interpret multiple Award's and EA's
- Experienced in automation and system implementationย
- Leadership and mentoring experienceย
- Knowledge of NZ payroll legislation and taxation will be highly advantageousย
- A positive and professional team player
