The National Account Manager (NAM) for Telstra has a wide range of responsibilities that are focused on Account Management and Sales. The NAM covers the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) process with key channel partners, as well as delivering overall commercial outcome.
Working with regional Supply Planning, Sales, and Sales Finance in the analysis of demand trends
Driving the business to achieve revenue, profit, volume and market share targets
Managing sales and promotional planning with key retail accounts
Building profitable growth plan to maximise market share and effectively manage cost structure
Identifying and capitalising market opportunities for profitable growth
Implementing training plans for retail sales force to educate and build awareness of company brand/products
Developing and executing strategic account plans including retail programs with retailers
Coordinating quarterly business partner reviews
Previous Account Management and Sales experience
Experience in mobile phones or IT product sales would be a huge advantage
Strong stakeholder experience and strong focus on sales targets is a must
Self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team
Independent and smart problem solver
Ability to align with strategic and detail orientated thinking
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
Able to deliver quality work to tight deadlines
