The opportunity

This legal secretarial role will involve working within the Family practice group, supporting on a 1:3 basis. In this role, you duties will include, but not be limited to:

    • Preparing briefs to Counsel
    • Liaising with clients and Barristers
    • Drafting billing letters
    • Dictaphone typing
    • Diary management
    • Email management
    • General administrative duties

To be successful

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrative a variety of experience and characteristics that will suit the firm and the role. These include:

  • A minimum of 3 year previous legal secretarial experience (MUST have Family Law experience)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Professional and confident communication
  • Friendly and personable attitude
  • The ability to liaise with clients and solicitors across all levels
  • The ability to take initiative
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with diary and email management
  • The confidence to act autonomously
