A reputable international law firm who have been prominent in the Australian legal market for over 100 years are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Construction Litigation team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with at least 3 years' experience in Litigation to support a highly sought partner, plus a few of their lawyers.
You can expect to be an integral part of this Construction Litigation team and your duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and their teams which will entail close and consistent contact
- Extensive diary management and travel arrangements
- Document production (creating, amending, drafting)
- Preparing briefs and court documents
- Event organisation
- Complex billing
- Liaising with lawyers and other senior staff
- Drafting correspondence
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of three years' experience in Litigation and exposure to Construction Litigation is highly desirable. Experience using Elite or a similar billing system will also be advantageous. On a personal level, you must be adaptable, outgoing and proactive.
