THE FIRM
Located in the heart of the CBD this corporate/commercial law firm has a great reputation for professionalism and positive workplace culture. This firm is focused on developing, nurturing, and managing long-term relationships with its clients.
THE ROLE
Supporting the Property team, this is a true Law Clerk position where you can expect to undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare documents including contracts of sale, vendor's statements, statement of adjustments, and due diligence reports;
- Identify potential problems pertaining to property-related matters;
- Manage files in accordance with firm procedures;
- Prepare client accounts;
- Prepare for and attend settlements;
- Liaising with involved parties;
- Manage and undertake PEXA related tasks; and
- General administration duties and delegating tasks to Personal Assistant.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this opportunity you must have proven experience working as a Law Clerk. In addition to this you will have:
- Experience in all aspects of conveyancing and developments (including off the plan), residential, commercial, apartments, interstate transactions, leasing, stamp duty, and broadacre development transactions;
- Experience managing files from start to finish;
- Great organisational skills;
- High level knoweldge of PEXA;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- A strong level of attention to detail; and
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
