As a Legal Assistant you will be working as part of a supportive and busy team who specialise in litigation. This position offers future development opportunities with previous incumbents progressing to legal secretaries. Your daily duties will include:
- General administration and data entry
- Opening, closing and collating information for workcover claim files
- Preparing an updating medical information on internal systems and client files
- Preparing or typing legal correspondence including letters and court documents
- Archiving files
- Social media research
The successful candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have prior administration experience with a preference for working with a law firm. Ideally you will have obtained your Advanced Diploma in Legal Practice (or similar legal qualification). Additionally, you will have basic word processing skills, excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, a flexible attitude and an ability to work well under pressure.
