This is a unique opportunity `to do great work' within a well-established multinational group which can offer you a challenging 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a key contributor to the business planning process, most particularly in the area of enhancing the visibility of the drivers impacting on inventory and excess and obsolete provisions. More specifically, you will be responsible for the financial management of inventory with particular focus on driving process improvements to ensure the more efficient management of resources. To do this you will be required to work closely with senior management across the business. It is essential you can effectively communicate complex financial information to non-finance staff.
Professionally qualified, you have an analytical mind with the ability to ask the right questions. You are recognised for your capacity to build and maintain good relationships (at all levels of the corporate structure) and are seen as proactive and self-reliant. In addition you have a high level of proficiency in all productivity tools (Excel, Access, Powerpoint) and have practical experience with financial planning software (Hyperion). You will have gained your experience in a large global group and have practical knowledge of standard costing and inventory management.
