Our client are an established Global Top-Tier Law Firm located in prestigious offices in Melbourne CBD. Due to an internal promotion they have a requirement for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their existing team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Accounts Payable Officer you will be responsible Responsibilities will include:
- Data entry and coding of invoices
- Responding to supplier inquiries
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Processing of global and domestic payments
- Ad hoc administration tasks
The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable experience in a professional services environment, preference will be given to applicants who have worked in the legal industry. Experience using CMS, Aderant or Elite is desirable but not essential. The ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines is essential. You will be required to liaise with senior stakeholders so clear and concise verbal and written communication skills are required. Intermediate to advanced excel skills are also essential for reporting and reconciliations purposes.
