A great opportunity to work locally in the Hurstville region and join this very busy Government department in their accounts team. The role is for at least 9 months with the possibility of extension and will require someone with the ability to hit the ground running. You will need a solid accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processing background within an SAP environment and work in a very busy shared services team. Specific duties include, but not limited to:
- Compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organisations/individuals.
- Gather purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets etc, and prepares payments.
- Maintain all payment or other transaction records.
A demonstrated 2-4 years of experience in this field or in a related area will be highly regarded together with familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in an accounts department. Your work ethic is solid achieving goals and performing a variety of tasks with general supervision.
