Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) Internship Program

The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA), in partnership with Cricket Australia and State organisations nationally, is offering a ten-week paid sport administration internship for ACA members looking to develop their career in NSW. The internship has been made possible through funds donated by the current players and through partnerships with State associations and BBL/ WBBL clubs. The Program is a terrific example of how current players are funding initiatives to benefit fellow members and strengthen the game.

ACA have engaged long-term careers partner Infront Sports Consulting (via people2people) to manage the application process. For the 2017 Program, Cricket NSW is offering the following opportunity:

Cricket NSW: Pathway Coach Internship (NSW)

Working in the Cricket Performance department and reporting to the Senior Manager, Cricket Pathway, you will be employed as a specialist coach, contributing to a range of high performance programs. You will work closely with the State Coach, State Assistant and Specialist coaches to plan, coordinate and implement coaching programs. You will have the opportunity to attend and participate in CNSW Academy sessions, matches, selection trials, squad camps, team practices and individual sessions. You will support coordination of coaches, venues and training and match day requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your coaching and sport administration skills.

The ACA Internship Program is open to ACA Members - male and female, current and former players.

All applications will require your current Curriculum Vitae and a cover letter detailing your interest in the program and availability.

Interviews will be conducted ideally on Wednesday 8th November in Sydney, however some flexibly around applicant schedules is certainly possible. Placements can be completed in-season or off-season commencing anytime from Nov 2017 onwards. Full time, or part time arrangements can be accommodated, as can many overseas and local commitments.
