We are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading global law firm with offices across five continents, who have been recently recognised as a "Global Legal Powerhouse' and number 1 global law firm in Corporate Law.

With four major offices across Australia, their Melbourne office is the largest in the Asia Pacific region located in the heart of the CBD.

THE ROLE

Due to an internal promotion within the team, this industry-leading law firm is seeking an outgoing and proactive Legal Secretary to join them working for the Partner who heads up their Real Estate practice, plus his dynamic team.

This is a tight-knit team that get on well and work effectively and efficiently with each other. The Partner has a reputation for being calm, collected and having a chilled demeanour.

This Legal Secretary position will be autonomous and your duties will likely include (but are not limited to):
  • Diary management
  • High level administrative and secretarial support to Partner
  • Managing confidential Firm information and opening new matters
  • Assisting with settlements
  • Input and maintain client data into client relationship software
  • Handling high profile client queries
  • Managing the monthly billing process
THE CANDIDATE

The successful Legal Secretary must have proven legal support experience in a reputable law firm and be familiar with billing. Exposure within Real Estate/ Property is advantageous, but not essential.

As the current team are outgoing and dynamic, someone who is confident and easy-going will suit the team well.
