The Company

This global organisation with a national presence in Australia has been growing rapidly and has recently diversified its activities and strengthen its position in the market. Due to a resignation they are now looking to recruit their next payroll officer on a permanent part-time basis and are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP. Located in the Greystanes surrounds, they are easily accessible and free parking is provided onsite.

The role

Working 2 days a week (days are flexible) on a standalone basis, you will oversee the end to end payroll for several entities of the same business with the following responsibilities:
  • Run the weekly and monthly payrolls for around 160-180 employees on Ascender
  • Process super and workers comp payments
  • Be the main contact point for all payroll queries
  • Reconciliations, posting journals and be involved in month-end activities

In order to be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Experience in a standalone payroll position ESSENTIAL
  • Working knowledge of Ascender or other majro payroll systems
  • Strong communication skills
